Property Tax County shows what homeowners typically pay in property tax in every county in the United States, in one plain, consistent format. Each county page gives the typical rate and yearly bill, compares them with the state and the country, and includes a calculator for your own home.

We built it for people buying a home, deciding where to move, or wondering whether their own bill is high. Government sites are accurate but each one uses a different format, and most only cover one county. We put every county side by side.

The site is run by a small team that works on public data tools. We are not a tax office or a law firm, and nothing here is tax or legal advice. Your county assessor and tax collector have the final word on your bill.
